A detachable, packable, thermal liner extends the use of these pants into cold weather conditions without adding too much weight, and you can pop in a detachable Hydratex 2L membrane when you need it. On those warmer days that demand maximum ventilation, control airflow with zippers on the upper legs, and remove both liners to help reach your ideal core temperature - simply take them out and stow them away.
